Welcome to the Washington State University Access Center!
Our mission is to coordinate services to empower students with disabilities to participate and excel in every aspect of academic and campus life at WSU.
Spring 2012 Updates
Returning Students: WELCOME BACK! Please review the following information.
1. Renew Services: All students who wish to receive accommodations Spring 2012, must meet with an Access Advisor to receive an updated accommodation form.
Access Advisors will be available to meet with students on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis during the first two weeks of the semester. Students who prefer to make appointments may do so.
2. Are you a student who plans to use Alt Print Spring semester? If so, please deliver your spring semester books to Debby Love, Alt Print Coordinator, as soon as the semester begins!
3. Accommodation Forms with Signatures: Students are asked to turn in their accommodation forms with signatures within two weeks of receiving the form. This form is a communication tool between you and your instructors and the Access Center. The sooner you speak with your instructors, it is less likely that miscommunication and delays in your accommodations will occur.
4. Proctoring Center EXPANDS its hours! Starting January 16, the Proctoring Center will be available to proctor your exams from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including the noon hour.
New Students: WELCOME to WSU! The Access Center is looking forward to serving you.
Please make an appointment with an Access Advisor as soon as possible. Either stop by the office (Washington Building 217) or call 335-3417. When possible, please deliver your documentation to the Access Center two days before your appointment for review.
